Synopsis:

The Fitness-to-Drive Screening Measure (FTDS) is a web-based tool used by caregivers and occupational therapists to identify at-risk drivers. Item response theory and Rasch modeling were used to assess the precision of this tool. The FTDS was found to be a valid and reliable screening measure for identifying at-risk older drivers using proxy-raters responses.
